I have a Wilson Hyper Hammer 6. I’m thinking of switching to a Prince O3 Orange Hybrid. Is it a good switch?
The Wilson is an oversize and the Prince is Mid
its a big change..cuz hyper hammer is power..an O3 orange is a tour racquet so that means you use ur own strength…but it depends on how u play so…….
Could you tell me a little about the Prince Air O Smash OS Racket? Could you rate it for me?

I'm pretty sure that this is what I have but in Yellow, sort of like the color on the Air O Zone OS pictured on their website. I'm new to the sport & don't know much about rackets and whatnot…Could you tell me more about this racket? Would you recommend it? If you could, could you rate it from 1-10 based on performance, control, etc.?
I would say 8 but its up to you what you make of it. If you have the skill and the racket fits your style, you could make it a 10! Good luck and be blessed!!!
Original Oversize Tennis Racquet Patents Stolen
I uncovered some really juicy gossip regarding the original oversize tennis racquet. I found this article about Siegfried Koubler, the man who invented the “widebody” racquet, and he has a couple of oversizes that predate the Prince OS.
Here’s an experpt:
“Two other racquets that Kuebler holds especially close are the Bentley Fortissimo Oversize racquets. First introduced at the Sporting Goods Show “Spoga” in Cologne in 1972, the Bentley Fortissimo racquet was designed by Kurt Klemmer and predates the Prince Sporting Goods Patent for Oversized racquets by two years. According to Kuebler, the epoxy/fiberglass Bentley oversize racquet was well received by experts in the field of racquet design, but failed to find acceptance with players. Ahead of its time, the Bentley Fortissimo looked too big and cumbersome with its oversized head.”
The whole article is interesting and can be found here:

The first question that popped in to my mind is “How can Prince claim on their website that they invented the first oversize racquet, when here is evidence that they were not the first?”
The article reveals some possible dirty play, saying that in the mid 70’s Prince were not able to get a patent for it’s oversize tennis racquet in Germany. This was because of the Bently Fortissmo which had already been filed. At this time two prototype racquets went missing from the patent office. I suspect they were stolen by an insider in order to remove evidence that somebody had already invented the oversize tennis racquet.
Oversize or Midplus – Head Flexpoint Radical Racquet?
This Sunday, I am planning on buying the Head Flexpoint Radical Racquet, the same racquet that Andre Agassi uses. I was wondering what the difference between OVERSIZE and MIDPLUS was and if possible, suggest which one i should go with.
Also, if you own a Head Flexpoint Radical Racquet, please name some pros and cons of it if possible. And also, which would you prefer, the HEAD FLEXPOINT RADICAL RACQUET or the PRINCE O3 WHITE which is the one Sharapova uses.
I own the head flexpoint radical mid plus. if you're a intermediate player try to improve, go with the midplus, it will make you work for the ball more than an oversized. oversized has 9" more head frame size than midplus. Agassi uses the oversized (not mid plus like the other person said up there.) but I think its cause he's 35 yrs old, so he needs a little more power to compete with the rest of the young pros.
this racquet is a little head light, so if you're a baseline player, it'll take a bit more out of you to do your ground strokes. but this racquet is very easy to manuever once you get used to it. but thats just me…
if you live in the u.s. http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/demoprogram.html will let you demo up to 4 racquets at a time for a whole week for just a small fee, compared to buying a racquet for almost $200, its a great deal, try it with both the radicals and o3 white.
check out other pros opinions about this stick V
Where can I get a set of drumlets for my tennis racquet?
I have a Prince Pro Oversize racquest and its drumlets (the little things around the inside of the racquet that hold the strings in place) are broken. They can be pulled off the racquet easily so they must be replaceable. How would I be able to get a new set of drumlets?
Everytime I get my racquet strung, the strings always break because of the broken drumlets. Also, how much would these drumlets cost?

whats the difference between mp and os in tennis racquets?
whats the difference between mp and op in tennis? im planning to get a new tennis racquet…prince thunderlite, but there were two choices. it said prince thunderlite (os) or prince thunderlite (mp)…
Mp stands for MidPlus and OS stands for Oversize. It is the size of the face of the racquet. The larger the face the larger the sweet spot and the more power you can recruit from the racquet itself. With the MidPlus it is just a smaller face, smaller sweet spot, more control and the power you create comes from yourself.
