Nick quickly grabbed a grey ‘New Yorker’ pullover and a pair of black raybans, and ran out of his hotel room. Once he got to the exit he quickly pulled his oversize hood over his head and bolted the opposite direction of the hotel. About an hour later he ended up on Cambridge Street….

Nick stopped right at Cambridge street. He took a deep breath and sprinted down the street. He stopped and ran up to a large tree beside a red brick house. He grabbed onto a branch to pull himself up. Once he climbed high enough up, he looked trough one of the windows on the house. It was open. He carefully jumped out of the tree onto the ledge of the window cell. He looked down and saw a girl lying on a bed, listening to music. He was very vigilant when he jumped into her room. He tip toed over to the girl and tapped her on her shoulder….
Girl: AHHH!!!
Nick: AHHH!!!

Is my system too weak for Prince of Persia 2008?
I got the game recently and I was surprised how bad the game runs on my system. Games like Crysis, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Dragon Age ran smoothly (although I had to overclock a little to run Crysis)
My specs.
OS – Windows XP SP-3
CPU – Intel Core 2 Duo – 6600 @ 2.40GHz
RAM – 2 GB
DirectX – 9.0c
Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT (512-Mb)
Shader model – 3
The first time i ran the game I set the video options to maximum being confident that it will run smoothly, but.. it was literally a slide show. The weird thing is that it doesn’t get much better on minimal settings.
Is this game too much for my PC?
It seems odd, especially odd, since games like Dragon Age and Crysis ran smoothly but prince of persia didn’t. Your PC seems fine…is the disc in tact? Those specs look about the same as mine, actually, and I can run most stuff that I want to. I actually played through Crysis…dealt with the low settings because I didn’t want to overclock it. Are all your drivers up to date? Perhaps you had some setting (physX) on or you accidentally had anti-aliasing cranked up or something? btw, if you have physX on, even if the game supports it, turn it off…I tried playing it with mirror’s edge…I actually had to ctrl+alt+delete because the game ran so slow…anyways, I hope I helped =/
